November Action Items: Assisted Suicide Training Day, Join us in the Breach, Banquet Last Call

By Barth E. Bracy, Executive Director, Rhode Island Right to Life

Dear Friend of Life,

Critical new legislative battles are now upon us.

** National advocates for physicians assisted suicide are intensifying their efforts in Rhode Island. To prepare for the coming battle, we have organized a free training day for Saturday, November 23, from 10 am to 4 pm at Providence College, Ruane Center for Humanities, Room 205. Please join us to learn from the national experts we are bringing in from Patients Rights Action Fund to help us form the Rhode Island Coalition Against Assisted Suicide. For further details or to print and share this information, please refer to this pdf event flyer. You may RSVP via michaela@patientsrightsaction.org or also contact bebracy@rirtl.org with questions.

** Local abortion activists have not stood down after their recent massive victory in Rhode Island. Rather, they have redoubled their efforts and are now feverishly organizing to “increase access” to abortion by removing all remaining Rhode Island prohibitions against taxpayer funding for abortion-on-demand, as well as conscience protections for pro-life health care providers. Please join us in the breach by spreading the word among your pro-life circle and in your church to sign up now (or to update your information) at our online Action Center. Please also save the date for our annual State House Rally for Tuesday, January 21, 2020, from 3 to 4 pm.

And don’t forget, there is still time to register for our 50th Anniversary Proudly Pro-Life Awards Banquet this coming Tuesday, November 12 at St. Patrick Academy in Providence. We will hold an OPEN MIC NIGHT for folks to share their pro-life memories from the seventies, the eighties, the nineties, and up to the present moment. A table will be available for you to share your pro-life pictures and memorabilia from the past 50 years.

Please join is for Rhode Island’s Annual Pro-Life Family Reunion!
