By Kansans for Life
Thanks to all our faithful Kansans for Life chapters throughout the state, there were KFL booths at multiple county fairs. The booths shared a variety of important pro-life information like fetal development, abortion pill reversal information, reasons to be pro-life and much more.
Counties with KFL booths at their fairs included Anderson, Leavenworth, Cowley, Wyandotte, Sheridan, Geary, Wallace, Atchison, Norton, Allen, Douglas, Bourbon, Sedgwick and Thomas.
The chapters got very creative with their displays and represented the pro-life movement very well.
Mary Cubit and the Anderson County KFL Chapter organized the Anderson County Fair’s KFL booth.
“The kids love the coloring books and babies,” Cubit said of booth visitors, “and there was a good turnout.”
The Anderson County KFL chapter held a drawing for a diaper bag full of supplies provided by chapter members.
“Everyone works together,” Cubit said of organizing the booth.
Wallace and Sheridan KFL Chapters had patriotic-themed booths.
The Wallace County Fair booth didn’t let space limitations hold them back. Wilma Mai, booth organizer, reported they handed out aptly chosen Lifesavers candy and even ran out of pro-life buttons.
Lisa Popp, coordinator for the Sheridan County Fair booth, included pro-life presidential quotes from Ronald Reagan on a beautiful, flag-themed background.
With the hard work of dedicated volunteers, pro-life booths share an important message and do so with a positive experience. That is an irreplaceable message in this age of divisive social media and news reporting.
A huge “Thank you!” and lots of love go out to everyone who contributed to all 14 booths! We appreciate you!
