We’ve gotten such helpful responses that it only makes sense to continue posting answers to the question posed on NRLC’s Facebook page, “Why are you Pro-Life”? I’m using “A” for those people who responded by using their tweeter handles.
Ashlee: Reason #1. I have held my newborn in my arms as she passed away. I was 17. I would do anything to have her here with me. #2 I have been blessed to have three more babies since we lost our first. Every baby truly is a miracle.
Emily: Because how much a person is wanted should not be the determining factor as to whether they are born or aborted. Life is our first, most basic, right.
Rebecca: Because of common sense. Heartbeat and brain function=life.
A: Because all life matters, with the same value. God made each person with a purpose for their life. He knew you before He knit you in your mother’s womb.
Tim: Because taking an innocent life is wrong period.
Lynn: Because I believe that Life is the most precious gift from the moment we’re born and everyone deserves to have that gift
Vicky: I do believe that life begins at conception, and everyone of us deserves to have a birthday
A: I am prolife because i cannot devalue life no matter how it is created or when it is given.
Kathy: Do not kill
Lynn: Because I believe that Life is the most precious gift from the moment we’re born and everyone deserves to have that gift
A: Because murder is wrong. And a civilized society should be protecting innocent life, especially that of children.
Yvonne: Abortion stops a beating heart
Catherine: Because God commands it.
A: Because I don’t believe In killing other people.. I don’t get to decide who is allowed to live and who isn’t. Life is a miracle and a blessing. No matter the circumstances…
Gail: Life begins at conception. PERIOD
A: Because I have a working brain
