IMPORTANT UPDATE: Wisconsin Attorney General Kaul and the need to recuse himself from the Planned Parenthood Lawsuit

By Heather Weininger, Executive Director, Wisconsin Right to Life

Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul

First, I would like to thank the many hundreds of people who have contacted Attorney General Kaul’s office about his role in Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit against the State of Wisconsin. This lawsuit would end protective, pro-life laws and allow Planned Parenthood to expand their abortion business across Wisconsin, increasing the number of clinics where abortions are performed from three to a whopping twenty-one.

Again, if you have contacted Attorney General Kaul, thank you!

If you have not contacted Attorney General Kaul, this frigid winter day is the perfect time to contact his office and let him know he should recuse himself from the Planned Parenthood lawsuit.

Contacting Attorney General Kaul is very easy! Just visit this page, scroll down, and enter your information along with your comments.

What’s New:

As you remember from my last email, we are wanting Attorney General Kaul to recuse himself from this case because of the clear conflict of interest that exists. Planned Parenthood was one of Kaul’s biggest supporters during his recent campaign. In addition, Tonya Atkinson, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, is a health policy advisor to Governor Tony Evers.

This request for Attorney General Ken Kaul to recuse himself is not without merit. Just this week, he did recuse himself from another lawsuit because of a conflict of interest.

What’s even more interesting about the case he recently recused himself from? The law firm who will now represent the State in this other case is none other than Pines Bach.

The “Pines” in Pines Bach is the same Lester Pines who filed the Planned Parenthood lawsuit against Wisconsin to repeal our protective, pro-life laws. This is also the same law firm that won $1.5 million of your taxpayer dollars when the requirement that abortionists have hospital admitting privileges was challenged and struck down in court.

If this doesn’t create even larger concerns of extreme political bias

and potential conflict of interest, I am at a loss for words.

Please take a moment today to e-mail Attorney General Kaul’s office and ask him to immediately recuse himself from this case!

By contacting Attorney General Kaul and helping protect these laws, you are helping protect thousands of women and unborn children across Wisconsin. Thank you!
