Kansas pro-life State Sen. Caryn Tyson
WASHINGTON – National Right to Life has endorsed pro-life state Senator Caryn Tyson for election in the U.S. House of Representatives to represent the second congressional district of Kansas.
“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Caryn Tyson, whose position on life reflects the values of Kansas voters,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president.
Caryn Tyson opposes abortion on demand, and she opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion.
Caryn Tyson supports the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – legislation to protect unborn children by prohibiting abortion at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.
As a Kansas state senator, Caryn Tyson opposed the use of government funds for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, which performs about 900 abortions in the United States daily.
Tyson also introduced legislation to ban abortion by dismemberment of a live unborn child.
“All voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to send Caryn Tyson to Congress, so that she can work to advance vital pro-life public policies,” added Tobias.
