My thanks go out to everyone who’s been reading the April digital edition of National Right to Life News, “the pro-life newspaper of record.” In a sense it is no surprise at all that people are perusing the issue and (they are telling me) forwarding stories to pro-life friends and family: there are a great many positive developments which we chronicle (and celebrate) in 38 pages.
Of course, we paid a great deal of attention (in multiple stories) to the confirmation of (now Justice) Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. He warranted unanimous approval, but instead Gorsuch’s supporters needed to circumvent various and sundry pro-abortion Democratic land mines.
We reminded our readers of the opportunity for college students to be a part of the NRLC Academy, a wonderful opportunity to help prepared the next generation of pro-life leaders. (They can email Program Director Rai Rojas at firstname.lastname@example.org; or call 202-626-8809. More information is also available at www.nrlc.org/academy.)
Prof. Joel Brind did an amazing job explaining a recent study published in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons which provided even more evidence of the link between an induced abortion and an increased risk of breast cancer.
Naturally there were multiple stories about ongoing state legislation, including in Kansas, South Carolina, Arkansas, Utah, Indiana, Missouri, and Arizona, to name just a few. Our state affiliates are busier than ever, which pro-abortionists lament 24/7.
We have insightful stories about Planned Parenthood, human embryology which debunks any and all myths about “when life begins,” and encouraging profiles of parents who refuse to give to “advice” that they abort children who are prenatally diagnosed with anomalies.
A great issue, which I trust you are reading cover to cover and sharing with fellow pro-lifers.
