Last week, registration opened for our annual Pro-life Legislative Day! Click here to register now!
Already, pro-life Ohioans are signing up to advocate for pro-life laws with us at the Ohio Statehouse. Why? Because in 2015, there were 20,976 abortions in the state of Ohio alone.
Together, pro-life Ohioans are taking action to bring down the death toll. At Legislative Day, we will be advocating for two critical laws: The Pregnancy and Parenting Support Act and the Dismemberment Abortion Ban.
The Pregnancy and Parenting Support Act provides funding to life-affirming pregnancy help centers in Ohio, supporting the organizations who are on the front lines, saving mothers and their babies from the pain of abortion.
The Dismemberment Abortion Ban would prohibit dilation and evacuation by dismemberment abortions, a brutal procedure that literally tears a developing, living, unborn baby limb from limb. Nearly 3,000 of these abortions occurred in the state of Ohio in 2015.
This year’s Pro-life Legislative Day will take place on Wednesday, April 5. Start the day with a legislative briefing session with Ohio Right to Life at the Downtown Renaissance. From there, we’ll head to the offices of Ohio’s legislative leaders to urge them to support our bills. Then, we’ll head back to the Renaissance for lunch and pro-life fellowship!
In 2015, there were 20,976 abortions in the state of Ohio. That’s 20,976 innocent babies who needed our voices–all of our voices.
In 2017, Ohio Right to Life is advocating for pro-life laws that will impact this number, changing hearts and saving lives. Will you help us in advocating for these laws? Will you devote just one day to ensuring that the right to life is respected for EVERY Ohioan?
