As pro-life Vice-President Mike Pence accurately proclaimed at this year’s historic March for Life, “Life is winning again in America!”
The old “Mexico City Policy” has been restored and expanded. The Trump Administration has banned our hard-earned tax dollars from funding organizations that perform and promote abortions overseas.
Pro-life President Donald Trump has pledged that all his nominations to the U.S. Supreme Court will be in the mold of the late Antonin Scalia, who saw Roe v. Wade as an ill-conceived ruling that should be overturned. His first choice, Judge Neil Gorsuch, has been universally hailed by pro-lifers.
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act in an effort to ensure that never again would we have to worry about our tax money being used to support the taking of innocent human life through abortion.
We can and we must keep the momentum going! It will take many more victories to guarantee that every precious baby and mother are protected from the ravages of abortion…that every vulnerable American is shielded from the dangers of doctor-prescribed suicide…and that all children with disabilities are safeguarded under the law.
This is where you come in. Consider taking the Five Minute Pro-Life Pledge.
The Five Minute Pro-Life Pledge is your promise that, when pro-life legislation is scheduled for a vote in Congress or the state legislature, you will take five minutes to call and email the lawmaker from your district and urge him or her to support the bill.
What difference could that make? It could be the difference between winning for life or losing to the culture of death.
Your call and email, added to those of other caring citizens, can speak resoundingly and effectively in defense of the sanctity of human life. Working together, we can make a powerful statement about the beauty of life and the obligation of government to protect it.
You can multiply your impact by posting the Five Minute Pro-Life Pledge on social media and challenging your Facebook friends and Twitter followers to follow suit.
The 20th and 21st centuries have given us incredible communications tools for making our voices heard in the halls of Congress and the corridors of state Capitols.
Let’s promise to use these tools to their full life-giving potential in 2017!
