Invariably, my favorite day of the month is when we post the digital edition of National Right to Life News, our monthly companion to National Right to Life News Today, our Monday through Saturday compilation of breaking stories.
Today we posted the April issue, which can be found at www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews
As we always do, we will be posting stories the remainder of the week to give readers a feel for what is in the latest edition of the “Pro-Life newspaper of record.”
We began today with the president’s column, written by NRLC President Carol Tobias. Her provocative title is, “Which path will our nation follow?”
With the presidential contests in full-force, we have several stories that discuss Donald Trump, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, on the Republican side, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Democratic Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), on the Democratic side. Please pay particular attention to the two stories on page one, and the stories on page five and page 16.
And there is lots of good news on the state level. We had barely posted the April issue when we heard that Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant would be signing the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act today. Mississippi joins Kansas, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
We have several life-affirming stories that will have you reaching for your Kleenex. See especially, pages 8,9, and 12.
As editor, I know our outreach is 100% dependent on your eagerness to pass along individual stories–and the link to the entire issue–to your pro-life friends and family.
I hope you take time to read the issue, cover to cover, and “share the wealth.”
