January digital edition of National Right to Life News now available to download

By Dave Andrusko

Jan2016NewsWe put the finishing touches on the January digital issue of National Right to Life News just a few hours ago. And while it shouldn’t, as someone who produced the print edition of NRL News for well over 30 years, it still amazes me how quickly the finished product can be sent out or accessed.

The new issue is available at www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews/NRLNewsJan2016.pdf.

You might expect that our front pages stories would be looking back to last year’s successes– “Counting Down the Pro-Life Highlights of 2015”–and looking forward to all that we can do together in 2016– “Attend the March for Life and then go out and make a difference.”

Making a difference is the goal of every monthly edition of NRL News as it is the Monday through Saturday compilation of stories found at NRL News Today. If you are not receiving the stories in your inbox, you can sign up in less than 30 seconds at www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/join-the-email-list.

So what will help our growing number of readers make a difference? By bringing you up to date on the legislative and political and educational fronts.

There are stories aplenty about all. Dr. Randall K. O’Bannon, NRLC’s director of education, has two terrific stories, one examining PPFA’s annual budget, the other a quasi-delusionary “study” purporting to show the wonderfulness of abortion.

Political Director Karen Cross writes about competitive 2016 races and I chip in with a story about how large a role the abortion issue may play this year.

And, of course, with all the legislation on Capitol Hill, there are numerous stories about how we have moved forward on many issues, including defunding most of PPFA’s federal funding, stopped only by the veto of a pro-abortion president.

Be sure to read at least a couple of stories a day at www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews/NRLNewsJan2016.pdf.

And, please, forward the link as well as individual stories to your social media contacts.
