Latest digital edition of NRL News covers the pro-life landscape

By Dave Andrusko

Feb2015FrontcoverIt’s barely a snowflake compared to what the Northeast is going through, but the Washington, DC metro area is grappling with the fallout of a sort of mini-snowstorm. But it was enough to delay for a few hours sending out the latest digital edition of National Right to Life News.

NRL News, “the pro-life newspaper of record, “ should now be in your email inbox. If you are not a subscriber, just click on www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews/NRLNewsFeb2015.pdf.

This is one of the fun times of the month for me. We’ve brought together 34 stories, the President’s column, an editorial, and an ad for the annual NRLC convention, the time when the pro-life family gets together to dine on an incredible array of educational fare.

We’ll be running a story from the latest NRL News each day this week. As we do customarily, we’ll start with Carol Tobias’ presidential column—“The value of every life” (page 3).

Joleigh Little has written a heart-warming account about the beauty of adoption, domestic and foreign (page 8)

This edition brings together the latest news on legislation in the states (page 24) with an interview with Mary Spaulding Balch, JD, NRLC’s director of State Legislation. You will thorough enjoy her explanation of what she calls “laws that change the discussion” (page 8).

Unfortunately the Supreme Court of Canada undercut the nation’s law against assisted suicide. See what it means on pages 11-12.

Randall K. O’Bannon, Ph.D., critiques yet another self-serving “study” in which Planned Parenthood operatives tout the ‘safety’ and ‘efficacy” of chemical abortions (page 14-15). They are neither.

There is so much more in this packed 37-page edition. We’ll talk more tomorrow.
