I’m sure you’re as outraged as I am about what happened in West Virginia.
The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act passed the Democrat-controlled legislature by historic bipartisan margins. Yet, Gov. Tomblin, who professes to be pro-life, vetoed the bill when it reached his desk.
But it’s not just West Virginia.
Pro-life voices need to be heard louder across the country. Similar legislation on the federal level has passed the U.S. House but still awaits a vote in Harry Reid’s Senate. Polling shows 64% of Americans support legislation to protect unborn children who can feel pain. Their voices must be heard.
We will not be silenced. Now is the time for us to raise our voices and demand protection for those who have no voice.
I’d like to invite you to participate in a “Voice for the Voiceless” Tweetfest next Wednesday, April 9th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. We’ll be using the hashtag: #TheirVoice.
RSVP on Facebook and invite your pro-life friends: www.facebook.com/events/1465633030334902/
