It’s almost 400 years since the first Thanksgiving celebrations were held in the U.S. to prayerfully commemorate settlers surviving arduous voyages and the challenge of procuring enough food to live. On Thursday, we recreate those celebrations with family and our own prayers of thanks. All of us at National Right to Life wish you and your loved ones a most blessed Thanksgiving Day.
At NRLC, we have another reason to give thanks. Because of you and millions of Americans like you who support our cause with your volunteer time, your donations, and your votes, each year now sees 400,000 fewer children lost to abortion than in the peak year for abortions twenty years ago.
Thanksgiving 400 years ago celebrated survival for the settlers who would create America. Pro-life policies give survival to 400,000 children every year who are America’s future. Both are deserving of our deepest thanks.
As we celebrate Thursday the many things we are truly thankful for, know that immediately afterward, National Right to Life will be right back at our work to save the precious unborn children who are the future of our great country. Thank you for all you’ve done to make that success possible!
