Go to Human Service Charities of America to find the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund, #10542
By Marie Rivers
Are you a federal employee who has received a Combined Federal Campaign brochure or attended a CFC kick-off event and are still contemplating what charity you want to contribute to?
Are you concerned about the plight of the unborn child in the United States in the wake of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that has cost the lives of over 55 million children? None of those 1.2 million unborn victims each year each year have a chance at life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Solution: select the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund whose educational efforts reach thousands of Americans on the realities of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Let me assure you that when you find us under Human Service Charities of America (HSCA), your contributions will make a difference.
National Right to Life is the largest pro-life organization in America with 50 state chapters and thousands of local chapters throughout the country with a very active grass-roots. That massive local base educates the public on life issues via talks in schools, lending libraries, television and radio ads, specialized outreach programs, and coordinating efforts with crisis pregnancy centers.
The CFC is the largest charity giving program for government employees. It was started by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in 1980. This year’s campaign began as it does each year at the beginning of September and continues through October, running a little longer in some areas.
Please look in your CFC brochures under the workplace campaign federation called Human Service Charities of America (HSCA) and find the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund, #10542, listed alphabetically alongside its 25-word statement.
Note as well that there are state and private campaigns to which you can give.
Currently, the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund is also participating in state employee campaigns in Arizona, California, Florida, Maine, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. If you are a state employee in one of these states, look for the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund under HSCA’s sister federation called Neighbor To Nation (NTN) in your state campaign brochure.
Last but by no means least, private sector campaigns are emerging throughout the country. Simply check with your workplace to see if it conducts an in-house charity giving program and you may write in the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund.
