What’s airing on Pro-Life Perspective Today: “Last Call for NRLC 2012, “ Part 2

By Dave Andrusko

Live Action President Lila Rose

In this second of a two-part chat about the upcoming June 28th to 30th National Right to Life Convention, National Right to Life President and Pro-Life Perspective Host Carol Tobias talks about two special guests. (By the way, for information how to register and to reserve a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel, click on http://stoptheabortionagenda.com/convention.)

The first is a frequent guest –Steven Mosher–who serves as president of the Population Research Institute.  He is an internationally recognized authority on China and population issues, as well as an acclaimed author and speaker.  He has worked since 1979 to fight coercive population control programs and has helped thousands of women and families worldwide.

“In 1979, Mr. Mosher was the first American social scientist to visit mainland China – a visit made at the invitation of the Chinese government,” Mrs. Tobias points out. “ He had access to government documents and actually witnessed women being forced to have abortions under the then-new ‘one-child policy.’”

The second special convention guest is Lila Rose, President of “Live Action.” As Mrs. Tobias explains.

“Many of you know Lila’s work, even if you don’t know her.  At age fifteen, Lila founded Live Action, a pro-life nonprofit which specializes in investigative journalism, media, and youth education. Serving as president of Live Action while she completed her studies at UCLA, she has helped expose abuses in the abortion industry and advocate for human rights for the unborn using new media to educate and mobilize local and national audiences.”

Just this week Live Action has released two undercover videos, the first in a series  titled “Gendercide: Sex-Selection in America.” They can be viewed at www.ProtectOurGirls.com. The most recent, at Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger clinic in New York City, shows a Planned Parenthood employee advising a woman on an early, definitive method to tell the gender of her child in the late first or early second trimester.
