This Week on Pro-Life Perspective: “The Life and Hope Network”

By Dave Andrusko

Suzanne Schindler

All this post-Thanksgiving Day week, National Right to Life President and Pro-Life Perspective Host Carol Tobias is joined in studio by Suzanne Schindler, sister of Terri Schindler Schiavo and co-executive director, with her brother, Bobby, of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network.  Suzanne is sharing the latest efforts of the Life & Hope Network and the ongoing work to save patients like Terri from death by starvation & dehydration.

The emphasis today is on what the Life & Hope Network calls the “Safe Haven Network.” Asked by Mrs. Tobias want inspired this idea, Suzanne Schindler explained that countless times familes come to them having run up against medical facilities that are denying medical treatment or even food and water to vulnerable loved ones.

What the Life & Hope Network is doing, Suzanne explains, is to create a network of hospitals and nursing homes that will adopt their mission statement, meaning they will not remove food and water to cause death. The “Safe Havens,” she said. “are a place that families can tap into to find a safe place for their loved ones.”

There is much today at You can hear both today’s broadcast and Monday’s, if you missed it.
