The Pro-Life Week in Review

By Dave Andrusko

I try to finish the week with a blog entry comprised of a few words and lots of links to the “best” of the 35 to 45 stories we’ve run that week at nationalrighttolifenew.org. Here goes!

Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter

With the battle continuing over funding to Planned Parenthood, we’ve provided you with a number of articles that offer proof positive that the income of the largest abortion provider in America is highly dependent on abortion, regardless of its insistence otherwise. We have one story today, plus http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/abortion-insider-abortion-is-ppfa%E2%80%99s-%E2%80%9Cprimary-money-maker%E2%80%9D/#more-777http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/abortion-insider-abortion-is-ppfa%E2%80%99s-%E2%80%9Cprimary-money-maker%E2%80%9D/; and http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/ppfa-mammograms-the-story-keeps-shifting/.

We ran story after story, including one today, about pro-life state legislative victories and victories in the making (http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/pro-life-laws-thriving-in-the-states/; http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/more-states-move-to-protect-pain-capable-unborn-children/; and http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/pro-life-breakthrough-in-alabama/). We anticipate more good days ahead.

And, as befits the importance of a long investigation that culminated in abortionist Kermit Gosnell being charged with eight counts of murder, we’ve run excerpts all week from the 261-page Grand Jury report. To take just one example, http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/who-was-responsible-for-%E2%80%9Cpreventing-all-this-death-and-damage%E2%80%9D-at-kermit-gosnell%E2%80%99s-abortion-clinic.

And there’s been lots of coverage of politics, both presidential (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/no-surprise-obama-to-seek-second-term; www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/geraldine-ferraro-rip/) and senatorial (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/virginia%E2%80%99s-open-senate-seat-will-likely-feature-clash-between-two-former-governors/). Before you know it, we’ll be in the heat of the 2012 election cycle.

And we would really be amiss if we didn’t remind you that in just 2 ½ months, it’ll be time for the annual National Right to Life Convention

(www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/youtube-video-invites-you-to-share-the-news-about-nrlc-2011/). This three-day educational bonanza is a gathering you won’t want to miss.

Have a great weekend. And please continue to use your social networks to share nationalrighttolifenews.org with all your pro-life family, friends, and colleagues.
